A Real Worlder Moving Out?

Came home tonight to find “No Parking” signs posted in front of my house.  The signs indicate that there will be a POD moving vehicle in front of my place all day on Friday.  What I noticed was the name on the sign was Ericka (as in the Real World cast member) and the address is listed as 20th and S.

Now yes there might be another Ericka planning on moving on Friday who lives in a 40 foot radius from the Real World house but my money is on this being the first cast member to move out.  If it’s true, I’m wondering what happened to warrant such a quick departure from the show.  Catfight or racist remark?  We’ll find out when MTV edits it.  The sign is posted below.

Is someone moving out?

Sorry to burst your bubble but I don’t think Erika is going anywhere (at least not the one on The Real World): http://www.shabooty.com/2009/08/06/erika-lauren-waskleski-not-moving-out-of-the-real-world-dc-house-rwdc.php

I am notso sure. Last night they kicked one douche off RW-LVlite and they literally just handed him a ticket and he was gone in what seemed like a matter of hours. Most RW departures are abrupt and rarely do they involve a moving van; moving vans are not dramatic, packing you shit and hitting the next flight out, is. So BMP (or whoever runs this now) takes that approach. But you never know.

It can’t be Erika from RW. Didn’t the cast arrive with only a luggage or two? I don’t think they would need a moving pod just to get the boot from the show.

I like your blog. But posting this poor girl’s phone number on the Internet? Not cool. You could have at least blacked that out or cut it out of the picture. And even if it’s not her number and is some MTV business line or (gasp) even if you’re wrong and Ericka’s not a cast member… posting someone’s number like that can cause them a lot of problems. Way to be responsible.

@Concerned The parking permits are a matter of public information. And as Shabooty pointed out (thanks @GoHeels) it’s the producer’s number that’s posted. Which, of course is the JOB of the producer.

More info about the Ridiculous World of No Parking permits is here:
http://greatergreaterwashington.org/post.cgi?id=1048

and the actual regulations and procedures are here:
http://www.ddot.dc.gov/ddot/lib/ddot/services/permits/psma_noparking.pdf

These people are (at least in age) legally adults. If they post their phone number on the street, that’s considered public and can therefore be reproduced in a blog. Which is a different kind of public square, but the same rules apply.

@Nerdette You are an idiot. Posting any personal info on a website, blog or public forum is irresposible and to try and justify it is idiocy. There isn’t any reason for it and the level of seeming “above it all” on this site is incredible. To call this anti-Real World is a joke. This is like reading a fan mag. written by a bunch of hipster d-bags. I’m finished with it.

These people (antiRW) really have no respect for anyone but themselves. Its now been proven that this was just a coincidence and if this had occured in the state of CA, you would have just violated the privacy laws by posting PII of someone on the internet.

For all the talk about the RW respecting others right to exist, its sad that AntiRW doesn’t care to pay the same respect to its fellow neighbors who also are not associated with the show. Your every bit the publicity hors as the stalkers who sit outside 20&S and stare. Shame on you.

Hey, I have to walk past the house every day to and from work. Two days ago I got narrowly missed with a water balloon. It was everything I could do to not go find a producer and start yelling. I just hope the cast is aware of how much they really are disrupting an otherwise wonderful neighborhood, and I’ll be throwing a party the day they move out. Hell, I’ll help pack!

People, we need to frame this post in a better way. I don’t suggest using the word “moving out” it’s too passive in this connotation. I suggest instead you say kicked to the curb, it’s much more hostile and helps put the readers of the blog on your side. Your photo isn’t influential enough. There’s 8 of you writing, I’m sure you all could gang together and do a staged photo shoot implying some scandalous activity that would make us think there is a motive to someone (doesn’t matter) is getting “kicked to the curb.” Lastly, always remember to humanize your approach. If you don’t people will glaze over anything you have to say.
