We Hear: Real World DC Cast at Policy with Humane Society

We have confirmation that the Real World DC cast is attending a Humane Society cocktail Party at Policy tonight for their Beat the Heat with a Cool Party for Seals cocktail party. In fact, a source says that the crew is there right now – and the cast trickling in.

We said it before, but I’ll say it again – I really like that they are taking advantage all the non-profits that DC has to offer. This is, after all, what we (DC) do best. We do good. We know that this (obviously) conflicts with reports that they’re headed to The Hill for Hawk & Dove tonight – but perhaps that’s their next stop tonight?

Hold on a minute here.

I’m all for RW going to non-profits, but not all non-profits do good. HSUS is a horrible organization, so please, I will now not watch a second of this show because of this. They are not doing good, they are trying to ruin animal agriculture. Hope you like veggies, because if HSUS has its way, there will be NO animal products in the grocery store. So, D.C. may think it “we do good” but supporting HSUS is horrible!

I may lose ARWDC status over this but I think the woman in the black dress is actually attractive…

@Concerned D.Cer,
While I agree with you, that if God intended us to be vegetarians, animals wouldn’t taste so good, I believe you’re mistaken. PETA – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals – are the ones that promote vegetarianism. And fling paint on fur coats. The Humane Society advocates against abuse of animals. Not sure if they strongly advocate vegetarianism too, but I’m pretty sure they’re not trying to take away you t-bone steak.

@DavidNone is that a castmember or a producer? :)

@Concerned D.Cer,

I am a strong supporter of HSUS as well as a meat eater. They do some great work protecting animals around the US. In fact, in light of your comment, I decided to give them $25.

Thanks for convincing me to give!

So wait, what does this have to do with the “pain and annoyance” that the cast is causing? Have you run out of Anti-Things to write about?
